Ground Rules

You are free to say what you like for or against any technique for writing unmaintainable computer code, but please confine your comments to code. The personalities of fellow posters (including myself) are off limits. If you comment on or insult your fellow posters, I will remove your comment. Unfortunately, there is no way for you or I to simply edit the comment. You are free of course to say unkind things about what others say. Attack the idea, not the person.

You can say "That is the stupidest idea I ever heard." but you cannot say "You are a fool for believing ...".

As I find time, I may comb your postings for ideas to include in the main body of the essay.
